Embedded systems are specialized computer systems that are embedded within devices and machines. The one-year Electronics and Embedded Systems Development Ontario College Graduate Certificate program is designed to provide you with the knowledge and skills necessary to design and develop hardware and software components for various applications, including consumer electronics, automotive systems, medical devices, and industrial control systems.

• Ontario College Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Degree or equivalent in electronics, electrical, mechanical, computer programming, computer science, computer engineering or related fields with a minimum GPA of 2.3.

• International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) or DuoLingo

Applicants with international transcripts must provide proof of the subject specific requirements noted above and may be required to provide proof of English language proficiency. Domestic applicants with international transcripts must be evaluated through the International Credential Assessment Service of Canada (ICAS) or World Education Services (WES).

International applicants must also provide proof of either: IELTS-International English Language Testing Service- Overall band of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each band; OR TOEFL-Internet-based (iBT)-overall 88, with the minimum in each component: Reading 22; Listening: 22; Speaking: 22; Writing: 22; OR Duolingo (DET) - Overall 120, minimums of 120 in Literacy and 105 in Production.
